Yesterday marks the opening of our building in Civic Center exactly 10 years ago. Before the major move, we were in Golden Gate Park for decades. Here in the heart of the city, 10 crazy years have flown right by. *Thank you* for being a crucial part of this memorable decade. We couldn’t have done it without you. 

Here’s a goofy video we made on the fly with the Lost Warrior. We have countless memories, so this is more like a taste than a definitive list. Two years ago SF partied hard with the World Series Parade, which ended up in our neighborhood. We had quite a view, with revelers on our door steps. We’re looking forward to celebrating again this Wednesday. Cheers, San Francisco.

Heman Chong imagines a future of dystopian stillness with Calendars (2020–2096), an installation of 1001 photos, each a calendar page capturing a moment of complete emptiness in today’s bustling areas of Singapore. “These spaces intrigue me on a structural and emotional level,” he says. “I know they are so susceptible to change, to every sway of policy, to every new wave.” In other works for Phantoms of Asia, Chong’s site-specific installations are a meditative interaction with the gallery space, applying thousands of original stickers into geometric shapes that may be found in nature, atomic structures, or cosmic symbols.
